Oh no they didn't create a President Obama chia pet. I know someone has got to be as outraged as I am. I would hope so anyway! There is no way in hell that this would occur if he were not the first Black president we have had as yet. I do not remember anything like this even during President Nixon's era and there were plenty of jokes about him being made back then. If I am wrong let me know please! To think there are those who are making a big deal about the President bowing to the king of Arabia or wherever, so upset about protocol and what things look like to he rest of the world. What the hell does it look like to anyone anywhere when we make such a mockery of the office of the president of the U.S.A. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?

WORK IS WHERE YOU FIND IT

Recently I saw a news report about a gentleman's club about to open up in the Roseland community. Well, the residents of the neighborhood are not too happy. At least that is what their alderman says. Supposedly; even though jobs are desperately needed in the area, as well as everywhere else; truth be told ; a gentleman's club is not the type of atmosphere the residents feel comfortable with so close to their homes. The alderman said that he is going to ask all of his ward members not to patronize the establishment. WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT?! In the first place,it will not matter a tinker's damn if the nearby residents do not attend. Men will travel to any new and hot titty bar they hear about to enjoy themselves and spend money. Why not,hell,it's their time and their money. Oh,I'm sorry if I didn't mention ladies as well. Lots of women enjoy the same such entertainment and once again,so damn what?! The thing that gets me is that this alderman (his name does not matter yet,unless he acts a fool later down the line) must know that the club has every right to be where it is . All the zoning requirements are up to standard it all checks out. As far as any demoralizing effect the club may have on the people living nearby, the place is so far off the beaten path it ain't funny. You would need to be a serious tree hugger to reach this place without a car. You'd really need to be in shape to do the walking it takes to get to the club. All the closed down factories that once did provide jobs for the community is depressing to see. Nonetheless, the fact is that the jobs available in the club are not for everyone. Just because a place of business is in your area does not mean that it will cater to providing jobs for mostly your area.Whatever the outcome we will probably see the GOOD ALDERMAN inside some fine day ,very soon, (wearing a disguise) participating in the festivities!!! LIVE AND LET LIVE OR WORK AND LET WORK!!! Anyway you look at it WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?

oh yeah! the President

I have noticed a seemingly contagious problem amongst the news media. Most of them seem unable th say the word president prior to his name. They will call him MR. or Obama or Barack It is as if they just can't fix their mouths to say President Obama. Now this is not for all of the media but it is for far too many. After all even as long ago as it has been the title President still precedes the names of such as Kennedy, Lincoln, Truman,Bush(both of them),Johnson,Jackson,and on and on the list goes. Perhaps the reporters think that President Obama is just such a cool guy that they have simply thrown protocol out of the window and become drunk with the feeling of a kind of permanent 'casual Friday' calm. BUT I DON'T THINK SO! I think they should should get back in their places. They have yet to call Queen Elizabeth 'Bess or Lizzy' so enough is enough, cut it out. The name is President Obama.

what in the world is wrong with folks, i am flabbergasted! there is actually a group of people angry at BURGER KING because they have chosen to use some ladies wearing short shorts with fake square butts, like the on SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS wears for a very funny commercial. this offends these idiots because they feel that this is a sexist portrayal of women and they do not want their precious little ones having to watch such a thing. They call themselves something like PEOPLE FOR A COMMERCIAL FREE CHILDHOOD. WHAT !!!!! I don't get it,I could have sworn that women walk around,especially in warm whether, wearing short shorts (without the square butts) quite often. I know this for a fact. If folks want to get upset for their kid's sake then why not do or say more about gun control, drugs, child abuse, or a thousand other things that harm our kids everyday. For Pete's sake!! stop trying to shield them from aesthetic. People will wear and do as they please and as long as it brings no harm to anyone else then LIVE AND LET LIVE!! Now I figure if these folk's kids are so awfully impressionable that short shorts on pretty girls will cause them trauma and thereby ruination 'they are screwed' and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
